In anticipation of flooding induced by heavy rainfall from Hurricane Irma, JBA Risk Management® has created a preliminary flood event footprint showing areas that are at risk of flooding.

The footprint covers the following islands in the Caribbean; Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, British Virgin Islands, Dominica, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Montserrat Saint Kitts and Nevis, Sint Maarten, US Virgin Islands.

Update

We've updated our preliminary flood event footprint to include the anticipated impacts in Puerto Rico, Cuba and the Dominican Republic.

Storm surge

We’ve updated our preliminary flood footprint data for Hurricane Irma to include storm surge flood data for Florida.

Final update

We’ve updated the flood footprint map for Hurricane Irma to show the eventual path and flood impact. The unfolding events led to unexpected storm surge in Charleston and Savannah, which has now been modelled.
