Having started his JBA Risk Management adventure in 2019, Paul brings more than 20 years of experience in meteorology in the public sector within research, technology, and business development roles.
He had worked with the insurance industry for several years before joining JBA. His recent focus has been on working with the international development community to use catastrophe models – this is to estimate flood risk in terms of population impacts and economic loss for disaster risk finance. He now leads the company’s team of consultants, and his focus is business development for the team.
Paul qualified as a meteorologist from the University of Reading with a BSc in Physics and Meteorology and more recently achieved an MBA with the Open University.
