This week JBA has been recognised as one of the UK’s top 200 mid-market private companies with the fastest-growing international sales as part of the Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200. Published in The Sunday Times and also on the Fast Track website, the league table is based on measured growth over the last two years and culminates in an award ceremony held virtually on 28 April 2021.
Jeremy Benn, Executive Chair of JBA, said:
JBA is pleased to be included on this prestigious list of companies. The UK has a proud history of working on infrastructure projects worldwide which we have been able to build upon. JBA is using home-grown talent and innovations in climate science, low carbon technology and IT to help other nations build and maintain sustainable infrastructure.
Commenting on the expansion of our international business, Mark Lawless, Director for International Business Development, JBA Consulting, observes:
We are delighted to receive this recognition of our international growth. In particular, we are hugely proud of the increasing work that we are doing with organisations such as the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, and the European Investment Bank. Through this work, we are helping to support sustainable development and flood and climate risk management in South and Central America, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Asia.
We are also incredibly proud of the success of our new business in Australia, JBP, which quickly established itself as a leading provider of flood and weather risk management services and is growing its business significantly year on year.
JBA’s global flood data supports some of the world’s largest re/insurance and financial organisations, as well as international projects across a wide range of specialisms ranging from flood risk modelling, analytics and flood forecasting to Integrated Flood Risk Management (IFRM) and Nature-Based Solutions.
