Digital Content Marketing Manager

 

JBA is the global leader in flood risk science. We are a dynamic, industry-shaping company working with clients in the insurance, finance, government and disaster risk reduction sectors across the world. We’re looking for a Digital Content Marketing Manager with experience of working in a similar role in a commercial marketing environment to join our marketing team.

Your role

Working alongside colleagues in campaign management, business development and client retention, you’ll be pivotal in designing, delivering and optimising the digital communication programmes that connect our products and services to our clients and prospects.

With at least 3 years’ demonstrable experience in digital marketing, you’ll use a mix of digital tools and technologies to affirm JBA Risk Management as a leading global expert in flood risk science.

You’ll play a key part in managing and developing our website (including writing content), as well as in our social media strategy and e-marketing programmes. You’ll also be involved in a range of other digital tools, including videography, webinars and podcasts.

The team member we’re looking for

We’re looking for a customer-centric, creative individual with a flair for digital marketing. You must be excited by marketing technologies, keen to continually learn and committed to helping keep JBA at the forefront via our digital channels.

You’ll be a strong writer with experience of managing a variety of digital marketing programmes. A proven successful track record in content management systems is essential, along with strong Twitter and LinkedIn strategic marketing skills and an understanding of Google Analytics. Experience of Umbraco and webinar technology is advantageous. As would be a background in a science-based or technical company.

Essential skills:

  • A demonstrable, successful background in digital marketing – including multichannel marketing strategies
  • Strong digital writing and editing skills, including an understanding of SEO, Plain English and tone of voice
  • Proven Content Management System skills
  • Customer insight/segmentation/customer journey mapping knowledge
  • Social media strategy skills (campaign management and content management)Cross-channel campaign planning, including targeting/segmentation, content/creative, channel/media and testing/measurement
  • Web/data analytics
  • Working with third party specialist agencies, external stakeholders and suppliers – ensuring work is delivered on time, on brief and on budget
  • Brand management
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Location

This is a full-time, hybrid working position (37.5 hours per week). You will be required to work at least two days a week at our modern, eco-friendly offices at Broughton Park, near Skipton, North Yorkshire. This unique work setting sits on the boundary of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and offers easy access to stunning countryside.
