Client Relationship Manager - Re/insurance

We are the global leaders in flood risk management. Our flood maps, catastrophe models and data are used by some of the world’s leading organisations. We’re looking for a Senior Client Manager to join our busy and expanding team, building meaningful relationships with our clients and helping them get the most out of our data.

The position

As a Senior Client Manager, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients. You will work with cross collaborative teams to identify new business opportunities, solve business problems and ensure our clients’ needs are met.

You’ll need to have experience working within a senior client or account management position and be familiar with client management practices, ideally within the re/insurance industry. You'll be able to apply your knowledge and experience to oversee further roll out of those practices and help to co-ordinate client responses company wide.

The job will be based in the UK at our new head office in North Yorkshire, set in stunning surroundings (watch our video to get a taste) with easy access to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park.

You can balance this enviable lifestyle with the fast-paced nature of our work, helping to develop and support our network of new and existing re/insurance clients. The role requires some travel to visit clients, mostly in London, so city life will never be too far away.

Being a motivated self-starter and good communicator will help you to nurture key existing relationships. You’ll need to be flexible, working both alone and as part of the team, organised and adaptable. A typical week might include providing training and presentations to a wide variety of clients (technical and non-technical), answering queries and solving problems for some of our key clients, and identifying new opportunities. As a result, you’ll need good numeracy skills and attention to detail. You’ll need to be comfortable with innovative technology and able to demonstrate excellent presentation and report writing skills.

Previous experience working within the re/insurance industry, knowledge of catastrophe models, and CII qualifications would be an advantage. However, we will provide training for any high-quality candidates whom we consider a good fit for the team.
