Flood Assessment Reports

——

Our flood assessment reports are available throughout the world at four different levels, as appropriate. They are of value to insurers, property search companies and asset managers who want a better understanding of the risk of flooding at different locations. The four levels of assessment ensure that reporting is appropriate for each location.

——

FLOOD INDICATION REPORT

STAGE 1

——

Our simplest Yes/No Flood Indication Report will indicate whether a chosen location falls inside or close to a flood hazard zone.

——

FLOOD EVALUATION REPORT

STAGE 2

——

If the result of the Flood Indication Report is 'yes', more detail may be required as to the potential risk. Our Flood Evaluation Reports provide indicative water depths, building on the data already established.

——

FLOOD MAP REPORT

STAGE 3

——

Our Flood Map Report provides a visualisation of the Flood Evaluation Report by presenting the risk location on our visual, indicative undefended flood hazard maps and map backgrounds.

——

ANNUAL DAMAGE RATIO (ADR) REPORT

STAGE 4

——

Our most detailed report, a Damage Ratio Report, gives a fully quantified assessment of flood risk, estimating the expected monetary loss due to flooding, over a long time period. The report will help insurers to quantify the technical price for the flood element of insurance.
